Stanley Theatre - Paul Butvila

Stanley Theatre harks back to a time when the theatre was going to be demolished and there was a push on to save it...which eventually succeeded.  

The preservation society was offered the painting and 500 prints at no cost to help with the fund-raising...internal politics intervened and the offer was withdrawn.

The prints were not produced and the painting has been in a private collection since then.
